Snowman Adventures
The Tarsar–Marsar region is tied deeply to Kashmir's ancient folklore and pastoral traditions. Shepherd communities have used these valleys for centuries during summer migrations. Marsar Lake holds mythological significance in local legends, believed to be a "mystic" lake always veiled by clouds. The trek gained popularity among adventure enthusiasts in the 1990s and is now considered a classic Kashmiri trek.
