Snowman Adventures
The KGL route was historically used by nomadic Bakarwal shepherds migrating with their flocks across the high passes. Over the last two decades, it has become one of India's most celebrated alpine trekking routes due to its extraordinary chain of glacier lakes. The trail connects ancient shepherd paths that have been used for centuries, offering trekkers a glimpse into the traditional pastoral lifestyle of Kashmir.
